World Series surprise which will make my mother happy. The Astros had a historic no-hitter. The Houston Astros pitchers threw a no-hitter, which means none of the Philadelphia Phillies hit a pitch stare, Ike, the only other time that's happened in the 118 years of the World Series was in 1956. The Astros went on to win the next game and take the World Series 4 games to 2, my mom is still overjoyed and won't stop talking about it.
